Indulge in the magic of the bee microcosm and let us guide you through the process of producing honey. Beyond honey, these miraculous creatures also produce royal jelly, propolis, pollen, and natural wax with remarkable properties.

Avocado Guided Tour

Enjoy the vibrant, refreshing Mediterranean citrus scents that invigorate the senses, together with the buttery flavour of avocado, on a tour around the groves. We grow two varieties: Hass, fruiting from March to July, and Reed, from July to September. Lemons and citrus are available almost all year round.

Tour of our Organic Garden

Take a special walk in our paradise. We guide you through our organic garden and introduce you to our fruits and vegetables, nurtured with as few chemicals as possible: peppers, all kinds of tomatoes, eggplants, zucchini, green salads, peaches, pears, passion fruit, strawberries, and more.

Jam Making

We make homemade jams for you and with you, using fruit from our garden: orange, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, apricot, peach, pear, strawberry, quince, tomato, or a blend of them all. Wonderful with traditional cheeses at breakfast, made with either white or dark sugar.

Aromatherapy & Herbs

Let the aromas of local herbs relax you and share their unique properties. Lavender, lemongrass, marjoram, dittany, thyme, oregano, and mint are the main aromatic plants in our garden. Enjoy them two ways: through aromatherapy, or in the kitchen, fresh or dried, for extra flavour.

Cretan Olive Oil Production

During the winter months, from late October to December, you can watch the production of olive oil, the foundation of the Mediterranean diet. Taste fresh local oil while staying at Physis Villas, all year long.

Manousakis Winery Visit

Within walking distance of the village of Vatolakos lies the magnificent Manousakis winery, with many years of experience in quality wine. Sample different varieties and taste locally cooked dishes, ideally combined in a tranquil natural landscape that relaxes soul and spirit.
